This webinar is designed for mental health professionals, including school counselors, social workers, therapists, and psychologists, who are interested in learning the fundamentals of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). It is particularly suited for those working with adolescents or young adults in school, community, or private practice settings. Participants should have a desire to expand their therapeutic toolkit with evidence-based strategies for helping clients navigate intense emotions, build healthy coping skills, and improve interpersonal effectiveness. No prior experience with DBT is necessary, making it an excellent introduction for beginners or a refresher for seasoned professionals.

Chelsea Fielder-Jenks, MA, Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, is the founder of Healgood Holistic Counseling Center in Austin, TX - a small group practice that emphasizes a holistic approach to counseling, addressing the intricate interplay of biological, psychological, environmental, and socio-cultural factors in clients' lives.

Chelsea’s extensive experience spans diverse clinical settings, encompassing individuals, families, and groups grappling with a spectrum of issues, from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance use to interpersonal conflicts, boundary setting, and life transitions.

She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), having completed DBT Skills Training from Behavioral Tech, LLC in 2012. She is a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist - Supervisor, recognized by The International Association Of Eating Disorders Professionals, and holds a certificate as a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist from Postpartum Support International.

CEUs (optional): 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered to attendees upon successful completion of the webinar and post-webinar assessment.

Will these CEUs be accepted by my board if I don't live in Texas?
Most but not all mental health professional regulatory boards accept out-of-state (Texas) and/ or online continuing education hours.  CEUs are not “accredited” by national boards.

Before purchasing, please first check with your state or provincial board for clarification on regulations, and the number of hours that you can earn through online courses.
